As parents, we know firsthand the challenges of raising a child in a world that seems increasingly chaotic and confused. Like many of you, we asked ourselves: “How do we protect our children while preparing them to stand strong?”, “How do we build a home that isn’t just surviving—but thriving?”
For our family our answers became our mission: To Radiate the Light of Compassion! And from this Lumière Families was born.

Rick and Danielle Thomas are not only the Co-Founders of Lumière Families—they’re also devoted parents to their son Noah, and partners in a shared mission to build a better future for families everywhere.
Rick is the President of Lumière Families. He brings a legacy of service, resilience, and quiet leadership. Raised by a hardworking firefighter father and a nurturing mother who ran a daycare, Rick learned early the value of dedication, balance, and responsibility. A lifelong educator and mentor to at-risk youth, Rick now pours his energy into strengthening family leadership and helping parents reclaim their role as guides, protectors, and culture-shapers in the home.
Danielle is the Chief Executive Officer of Lumière Families. Adopted at birth and raised by a loving family who instilled values of faith, kindness, and perseverance, she has dedicated her life to helping children and strengthening families. With a degree in Child & Adolescent Development, and as a lifelong educator and homeschool facilitator Danielle brings wisdom, compassion, and a deeply personal commitment to the work of empowering parents.
Together, Rick and Danielle believe that mother and father are the first and most important leaders in a child’s life—and that intentional family leadership can transform not just homes, but communities and generations.
